Reg Harris Reserve

Reg Harris reserve is a really beautiful nature and play space created on the site of the old Gambles brickworks quarry. It is a well crafted combination of playground and open bushland, with a small pond featuring its very own miniature bridge. The space attracts ducks and other bird life near the playground area, making it a natural paradise to explore and wonder!

The playground itself features a timber play structure, incorporating slides, a climbing wall, tunnel, shop front, and rope bridge. There is also a seesaw, fish springer, and a miniature table and chair carved from wood. A stones throw away from this area, you’ll find the swings, spinning noise maker, carousel, and a basketball half court.

The main play area is covered by a shade sail, and surfaced with bark, in keeping with the natural environment. There are toilet and bbq facilities, as well as onsite parking.

All in all a beautiful space, for walks, play and picnicking, and caters to all ages.
