Madeline Street Reserve

Madeline Street Reserve is an open play space on the corner of Madeline Street and Vears Road in Glen Iris. Tucked away in the corner is a neat little playground to keep the little ones entertained.

Designed with younger children in mind, this picturesque playground has a man made adventure play mound as its main element. The mound is all about nature play, featuring rubber rock climb, timber platform, balance logs and boulders, and a slide that casts the eye over the rest of the play space.

Across from the mound is a train, the “Madeline Express”, mounted on springs for a wobbly ride that encourages imaginative play. This area also has two cars carved out of wood, and a set of swings in the corner.

There are some lovely quiet areas for the kids to explore, including a mushroom themed table and chairs, in addition to more traditional picnic spaces.
