Dolomore Reserve Playground

If you’re looking for a fabulous playground that’s also low-key in terms of location and number of visitors, then Dolomore Reserve is the playground for you.

This magical space is tucked away in the leafy south eastern burbs, and gives you and yours, all the playground favourites, including a sandpit and digger, horizontal rope swing, a birds nest swing, and a cup spinner.

The main timber structure features a high and low level with a range of elements for young and old to explore. These include, a decent scramble wall, climbing obstacles, rope bridge, dual slide, and a fireman’s pole.

Do bring along some chalk and try your hand at drawing on the two tall chalk boards located beneath the main wooden structure. Here you’ll also find a steering wheel, shop front and distorting mirror.

Our little miss 2 yr old found the real magic of this playground in the large old tree that shades the sandpit- she climbed its protruding routes and sturdy branches, as well as enjoyed jumping around on the log steps nearby.

The space is perfectly finished off with a shaded table and seating area, as well as an unshaded table and seats, drinking fountain,
and lovely surrounding greenery.

All in all, we give this place two thumbs up, as it is fully enclosed and allows for adventure and nature play in a quiet and gentle environment.
